After tasting more than 16 combinations of different proportions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, Penny and Ben finally decided on the best of all: Penny, prefers the deep and subtle complexities of the Merlot grapes, grown in the Right Bank and thus for our Lateralite Droit we selected a winning combination of 65% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc.  Penny came to this beautiful blend after tasting the “Le Domme” wine from Chateaux Teyssier which is a blend with 90% Cabernet Franc.

Ben preferred the dominant and complex flavors of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape, grown in the Left Bank. The “secret” combination that led to this wonderful blend is composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.

It is our opinion that both of these wines will receive from 98 to 100 points once they are enjoyed by our select group of customers.
